Infertility Counseling &            Psychological Support

Infertility counseling and psychological support offers both individuals and family systems an opportunity to explore thoughts, feelings, and beliefs associated with both the yearning for children and the heartbreak often experienced as a result of barrenness. Due to the overwhelming nature of this experience, it can often leave one to feel alone and isolated in a journey laden with unanswered questions in unknown territory. The book entitled “Infertility Counseling: A Comprehensive Handbook for Clinicians” edited by Sharon N. Covington and Linda Hammer Burns, indicates that “infertility affects between 80 and 168 million people in the world today…and approximately 1 in 10 couples experience primary and/or secondary infertility."

Loneliness, misconception, and one’s own personal journey through infertility no longer has to be experienced alone. Please consider an alternate perspective that has the capacity to shed light on the meanings and implications of those decisions and choices that no longer have to be made alone.
